Two Star Games is bringing us one of the most hilariously horrifying experiences we will see this year. Choo-Choo Charles is crawling its way onto your desktop on December 9th with a huge sinister smile. This eerie open-world survival horror game aims to bring a unique twist to the age-old genre by having you control a train, to ultimately fight a spider train. The game looks stunning.
The appeal to this game is largely from the absurdity that is Choo-Choo Charles and the fact that an idea of a spider-train creature reminiscent of Thomas the train can be so damn scary! You subconsciously tell yourself that this should be a ridiculous idea and in no way scary, but it instead makes it that much creepier.
Players will have to switch between maneuvering on foot, in search of scraps, and conducting their own train. The more loot that is found the more upgrades will become available for players to strengthen their train. Be sure to help out the local townspeople along your path in order to unlock high-powered weapons that bring you closer to taking down the flesh-eating spider train for good.
Choo-Choo Charles is launching on PC via Steam on December 9th 2022.
