Red Dead Redemption 2 will never be delayed again said the CEO of Rockstar parent company Take-Two Interactive. In an interview with CNBC’s Jim Cramer, Strauss Zelnick revealed that he is confident that the game will actually be released on October 26 to the PS4 and Xbox One. Zelnick practically made a promise in the interview that the game will come out as scheduled. When the interviewer asked him again, he revealed that a thousand people are working on the project from all over Rockstar’s studios to ensure it comes out on time.
Of course, it's not really advisable for developers to promise release dates to gamers given the many elements that make up a game, one of which could go wrong at any time and delay the release. This isn’t the first time Zelnick shared his confidence in the game’s launch. A few months ago, Zelnick said that he was sure the game would not be delayed again after it was moved from Spring 2018 to its current release date on October 26.

Red Dead Redemption 2 takes place in 1899 and will serve as the prequel to the original game, which took place in 1911. The game will follow “the story of outlaw Arthur Morgan and the Van Der Linda gang as they rob, fight and steal their way across the vast and rugged heart of America to survive.” You can check out the game’s latest trailer here.
