With a trailer and announcement at Summer Game Fest 2023, developer and publisher Phoenix Labs set the date for the release of its magical new title Fae Farm is set to hit PC and Nintendo Switch on September 8th, and is available for pre-order now.

Fae Farm is, as the title might suggest, a farming sim. This comes with its own twist though, as the game's world is one where magic is commonplace. Players can take part in the normal tasks of running a farm. There are crops to grow, animals to take care of, and an extensive house decorating system. Characters are fully customizable and presented in a cute 3D art style. There are NPCs out to interact with and befriend, and seasonal changes to enjoy.

Players can venture out into the fantastical world, alone or with friends. These places are filled with all kinds of strange wildlife, from sentient bouncing shields to cannon pigs to floating dragon-like creatures. Venturing through these places means engaging in combat with the weird and wonderful monsters, but might yield some big rewards for players' successes.

Fae Farm is set to release on September 8th for Nintendo Switch, PC via Epic Games Store and Steam.
