The anticipation for Mattel and Milestone’s Hot Wheels Unleashed is heading through the roof as its September 30th release date nears. A new trailer has been released that gives spotlight to the game’s customization options available to players. While it’s a pretty modest look at what’s possible with these options, they tease enough to get the mind wandering.
The Livery Editor gives players the tools needed to create unique looks that’ll make their cars stand out when they’re dominating the racetrack. You can apply a matter of different colors and shapes to the Hot Wheels Originals and Real Manufacturer cars, as well as share them the world over for other racers to download.
The trailer also shows us that the game will have a special place for each racer to call home. It’s called The Basement and it will be your own customized space that you can make your own. From its paint color to the furniture that furnishes it, it is all yours. In there, you’ll build tracks however you want, spanning the entire thing. Get creative with it!
Hot Wheels Unleashed launches on September 30, 2021, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store).
