March 1st is almost here and Devolver Digital has just released the latest gameplay trailer for its latest hack-and-slash first-person shooter, Shadow Warrior 3. The trailer showcases some of the chaotic fun players can expect to see during their journey. As expected, there is lots of blood, dismemberment, and witty humor throughout the trailer.

Flying Wild Hog has helped bring the franchise back as of 2013 with its release of Shadow Warrior, a new take on the franchise made famous by former developer 3D Realms. The game is known for its over-the-top action and tongue-in-cheek humor. Players play as protagonist Lo Wang on a quest to hunt an ancient dragon that has recently been awakened. Lo Wang will have to chop through hordes of demons and utilize an exemplary arsenal to save the day once again.

The arena shooter is mixing old-school with modern gameplay mechanics, allowing players to perform air dashes, wall running, and double jumps. Players will also have access to a grappling hook which will open the potential to a variety of playstyles and possible combat combinations.

Shadow Warrior 3 is launching on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on March 1st.
