It was only a few months ago that The Stonebot Studio and Ludus Games released their unique, dog-filled tower defense game The Last Friend with the help of publisher Skystone Games. Now, at the start of 2022, they have announced that they are working on a major update for the game and that this update will be available from the initial release of the game’s Nintendo Switch version.
The major update is something that current players can look forward to. With it comes a new and improved difficulty mode selection, along with the highly requested update, couch co-op! They are also planning to include their game in multiple upcoming bundles on Steam, so if you don’t have the game yet and plan to get it on PC, then an opportunity to get it with some other games will be coming soon.
The Last Friend’s upcoming update and Nintendo Switch release are both planned to happen in early 2022. It won’t be long before a better version of the game comes to all players on both PC and the Switch. Which announcement are you more excited about; the update or the new platform?
