In a recent report by WindowsCentral, Microsoft has realized that $80 for a video game is too much, and are now charging $70 for The Outer Worlds 2 which is set to release on October 29th, 2025.
In a statement given to the publication, Microsoft stated:
"We’re focused on bringing players incredible worlds to explore, and will keep our full priced holiday releases, including The Outer Worlds 2, at $69.99”
This could also mean that upcoming titles such as Black Ops 7 could also be a $69.99 release as it is also a Holiday 2025 release. So this is good news for fans of Call of Duty who may have been on the fence for the new title.
