It has been a couple of weeks since The Outer Worlds Launched on PC, PS4, and Xbox One and the title has been well received! One version of The Outer Worlds many of you might still be waiting on though is the Switch version. This version of the game got announced a bit before launch but no real release window was announced other than 2020. But now, we have been given a more specific time frame for when we can expect to play the amazing RPG on the go!
In a new earnings report from Take-Two, owner of The Outer Worlds publisher Private Division, we have been given the more specific time frame of release! According to Take-Two, The Outer Worlds “will also be available for Nintendo Switch in calendar 2020, during our fiscal year 2020.” This means the game will be out before the end of the fiscal year ending on April 30th!
I for one am glad that we won’t have to wait too long into the year to get this version of The Outer Worlds. It will be interesting to see what changes are going to be made to the game to accommodate the portable hardware. Just one thing I hope to look into when the game launches in 2020! Are you planning to pick up the Switch version of The Outer Worlds or are you content with one of the other versions already available?
