There are only a few days left before Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is released to the Nintendo Switch. Now, Capcom has revealed on Twitter that it will release a free playable version of the game today, August 16.
The demo will allow players to try all the six Hunting Styles in the game including the new Prowler abilities. Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is an expanded version of the original game, Monster Hunter Generations, launched in the 3DS back in 2015. The Switch version will include more content and Hunting Styles such as Alchemy and Valor. Also, an Elder Dragon and a brand new endgame boss will be featured in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate.
Furthermore, players who already played Monster Hunter Generations on the 3DS will be able to continue their progress on Ultimate on the Switch by transferring save game data from the 3DS version to the Switch version. Also, Ultimate will take advantage of the Switch’s touchscreen in its combat system and will support four-player multiplayer both locally and online.
Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate launches on August 28 for the Nintendo Switch. A demo of the game is available today, August 16.
