As the release date of Capcom’s highly-anticipated remake of Resident Evil 2 is only a few months away, the studio revealed on Twitter yesterday, that some of the franchise’s classic titles, Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0, and Resident Evil 4, are all set to launch on the Nintendo Switch soon.
As of right now, no details were revealed except that all three games will release on the Switch sometime in 2019. Capcom was also silent on which versions of the games will be ported to the Switch, which is vital since all titles, especially the first Resident Evil has several iterations such as the original, the remake, and the remaster of the remake. Once released, these games won’t be the first Resident Evil titles to grace the Nintendo Switch as both Resident Evil Revelations 1 and 2 are already available on Nintendo’s hybrid console.
Are you excited to play these classic Resident Evil titles on the go? Which entry in the franchise is your favorite? Mine is the original Resident Evil of course!
