During today’s State of Play event, Square Enix announced that a new trailer for Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin would be made available. The game, which captured significant attention last year with its Chaos Awaits trailer launches soon and has had two demos previously. This third demo will expand the Job system, allowing players to try out new and improved versions of classic Final Fantasy jobs in its new action RPG style.
The official PlayStation blog promises that this is, “A new direction for Final Fantasy. Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin is an authentic action game unlike anything else in the Final Fantasy series to date, and with a villain as the protagonist, it also paints a darker world.”
Square Enix has announced that progress players make in the demo will carry to the full version of the game as well, a practice I’m grateful has become more commonplace. The demo will allow players to progress through the first three stages of the start of the game. They can also play the multiplayer mode of the game with other players.
The demo for Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin is available on these consoles as well as PC via the Epic Games Store on March 18.
