With the next-gen consoles just out of grasp, Codemasters is showing off some new core features and details of their developmental process for Dirt 5 on PlayStation 5. It’s a video interview between Technical Director, David Springate and features a first look at the game running on PS5 ahead of its launch on November 12th! Mr. Springate also had this to say about the jump to next-gen, “We are delighted to finally reveal more details on the PlayStation 5 version of DIRT 5," and "There are so many enhancements that players will love and they don’t come much bigger than the DualSense Wireless Controller, which is an industry game-changer”. I cannot wait to get my chance and try this on next-gen consoles!
The DualSense controller really is an interesting piece of gaming history. That alone makes me want to get a PS5, just to experience what it does during gaming. It’s only the beginning for it and the possibilities seem endless. Hopefully, it isn’t as gimmicky as the DualShock 4’s touchpad. Yikes. Dirt 5 launches on PS5 on November 12th, Xbox Series X/S tomorrow (November 10th), and Google Stadia slated for Q1 2021!
