Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, the latest game in Gearbox’s Borderlands series, has officially gone gold, per an announcement on the game’s Twitter account earlier today. This means the game is considered to be in a fully playable state and ready for its March 25th release date.
This announcement comes shortly after the reveal of two of Wonderlands’ character classes: The Graveborn and Spore Warden. These join the already revealed Clawbringer, Spellshot, Brr-Zerker, and Stabbomancer classes that players can choose from when starting their Wonderlands journey.
A recent developer diary also revealed more information on a new feature that Wonderlands will introduce called multi-classing. Multi-classing will allow players to mix two different classes together to take advantage of the abilities and perks from each class to craft entirely unique character builds.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands was first revealed at E3 2021 and was initially given a release window of 2022. The announcement of the game’s official gold status comes after a series of high-profile delays for other games slated for early 2022, including STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl and the Saints Row reboot.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands takes the Borderlands franchise in a new direction that brings the beloved looter-shooter into the realm of fantasy. Wonderlands is bringing new weapons to the series to fit this theme, including medieval-style armaments like crossbows and hammers. Players will also have access to a variety of different spells and abilities to create a unique playstyle with their chosen class.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will launch on March 25th, 2022, and will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the Epic Games Store, with more PC platforms coming after launch.
