One of the best parts of the Tomodachi Life series is watching two Miis you made fall in love with each other. Although in past games it would have to happen naturally, in Living the Dream, you can make the romance happen yourself. We’ll explain how you can make your Miis fall in love and date each other in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream.

How to make Miis fall in love in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream

The main way to make your Miis fall in love and start dating each other in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is to force interactions between them until it leads to a possible crush. In Living the Dream, you can hold the A button over a Mii to pick them up and press A again over another Mii to make them interact. If your two Miis are strangers, the only way to have them build a relationship is to force a first interaction.

From there, you can watch their relationship grow organically, or speed it up by trying to have one Mii have a one-sided crush on the other. To do this, wait until one of your Miis has fallen over or just needs help. Then, bring the Mii you want them to romance over to help them, which may trigger an Unrequited Love cutscene.

As your one Mii’s crush grows, they may eventually ask you to help them confess their love. If the other Mii likes them enough, there is a better chance that they will respond well to this confession. Check their relationship to see how well the other likes them back, and hopefully they won’t reject their offer to date!

If you want a better chance at having two Miis fall in love, try setting their real-world relationship as partners. You can do this in the Mii creation menu when asked if that Mii is related to another Mii in the real world. We’re not yet sure if it guarantees a romance, but making another Mii a partner can at least ensure a better relationship.

If you’re attempting to have two Miis romance each other but it’s not working, make sure that their dating preferences match each other’s genders. Also, Miis who are related to each other by family cannot romance, so don’t even attempt that.
