Starting today, Marvel fans can finally get an idea of what it would be like to fly around the world as Iron Man. That’s right. You can demo the upcoming Marvel's Iron Man VR!
Obviously, you’ll need a PSVR setup, but if you or a friend has that you’ll be able to check out the game before its July 3rd release date.
In the demo, players can see what missions in the game will feel like. Fly around in the Iron Man suit and control all of his powers and armor abilities. We’re not at Ready Player One status yet, but we’re getting closer.
If you download and play the demo, you’ll get access to the Molten Lava Armor Deco when you purchase the full game. So there’s some cosmetic incentive there.
Here’s the story as we know it:
Tony Stark has retired from making weapons and instead creates technology used to battle evil as Iron Man. After several years as a world-famous Super Hero, Tony is attacked by the mysterious Ghost, a hacker and anti-corporate activist who repurposes old Stark Industries weapons. In her efforts to topple his empire, Ghost attacks Stark’s corporate locations around the world, leading to ever-escalating stakes and a final showdown.
With the PSVR setup, players can use the Move motion controllers to power the Repulsor Jets and unleash Iron Man’s arsenal of weapons. Tony Stark is a genius tinkerer, so be prepared to upgrade your gear and customize your look.
