The boys are back together! Alongside the release date announcement for Gears 5’s next big Operation, it was revealed that Dominic Santiago would be returning to battle, making Delta Squad whole again. Operation 4: Brothers in Arms will be available in Gears 5 on July 14.
The update will not only introduce tons of brand new content and a new Tour of Duty but will also include multiple reworks and quality of life improvements. The biggest of which, in my opinion, is the Ranked system rework and the new store with earnable currency.
I’m excited to see the direction that the Coalition is taking with Gears 5, and can’t wait to see what they not only add to the game in terms of content but also what they choose to improve on when it comes to general gameplay and player concerns in the further operations to come.
