Just as they have done with their games before, Bandai Namco has announced yet another closed beta for their upcoming anime-based game. With One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows already known to be coming out, it is great to get so much more information about the game including the fact that it won’t be out until 2020. The new trailer they released to announced the closed beta sign-ups really answers a few more questions and shows that this isn’t going to just be another fighter game like Jump Force or DragonBall FighterZ.
From the options to create your own character in any way you want to exploring the city that One Punch Man lives in, there is much more to do than the 3v3 battles. It even looks like there are going to be some fights with the NPC’s which hints at an overall story mode for the game. We won’t know exactly what this game will have to offer until we dive into it and anticipating players can sign up today in order to get first access to the action themselves.
If you do decide to sign up for the closed beta, which will only be on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, you have until October 16th to get your name in. From there you will have to wait until October 29th to find out if you have been selected and then get ready for the gameplay to begin on November 1st through the 3rd. The official schedule for the beta is as follows:
Session 1 - Friday, November 1st from 3:00AM PDT – 5:00AM PT
Session 2 - Friday, November 1st from 11:00PM PDT – 1:00AM PT (Sat. Nov. 2nd)
Session 3 - Saturday, November 2nd from 2:00PM PDT – 4:00PM PT
Session 4 - Sunday, November 3rd from 1:00PM PDT – 3:00PM PT
The time frames are little restricting, but at least we have a chance to jump into the action before the end of the year. Check out the closed beta trailer yourself to see some of the new gameplay features shown off and consider if you want to be a part of the first playable session for One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows.
