Speeding down railways and pulling off the wackiest tricks isn’t only unique to Denshattack. Although no game will ever be quite like this fast-paced train platformer and racer, there are plenty of games available to play if you’re in the mood for something similar. Bomb Rush Cyberfunk
The most similar game you’ll get to Denshattack on this list is Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, a stylish 3D platformer that lets you take over the five boroughs of New Amsterdam by skating around and hitting graffiti spots. Whether it’s by bike, skateboard, or rollerblades, perform tricks on and off rails and challenge rival crews.
Although this doesn’t take place in dystopian Japan, it’s got the same funky playstyle and fun parkouring where you have to rack up combo points. It also increases the danger with a militarized police force ready to chase you as you vandalize the streets.
Haste
Instead of skating or train riding, you sprint across plains and through the air in Haste, a speedy parkouring roguelite set in a procedurally-generated collapsing universe. Race at high speeds and master your movement to escape each level as it falls apart behind you.
Collectible items enable build customization to make it through multiple levels across four unique biomes. Similar to Denshattack, Haste also has a colorful cast of characters to meet and befriend. It’s also playable by yourself or online with friends.
OlliOlli World
Pick up a skateboard and perform the sickest tricks in the action-platformer OlliOlli World. The world of Radlandia is just as vibrant and cartoonish as Denshattack, but this time you get to create your own character and express yourself through hats, glasses, and other clothing and accessories.
When you’ve figured out your look, you’ll be cruising through the 2D levels by grinding rails and flipping off of billboards. It’s a game that welcomes newcomers just as much as it accepts pros, so it doesn’t have a steep learning curve when it comes to figuring out tricks.
Sonic X Shadows Generations
Sonic X Shadow Generations offers a mix of classic and modern Sonic with the same platforming finesse as all Sonic games have. You get a whole new story campaign in this game where you play as Shadow speeding down rails and leaping through the open zone hub called White Space.
You also get a time-travel adventure with Modern and Classic, who must team up to defeat Dr. Eggman’s past and present selves. If you’re looking for a fast-paced action platformer with an incredible soundtrack, Sonic X Shadow Generations is worth checking out.
Neon White
Just like Haste, Neon White is a game all about speedrunning. This single-player 3D platformer has you race through levels at lightning speed to exterminate demons in Heaven. You collect Soul Cards along the way, which you can use to either attack enemies or get rid of them in exchange for unique moves and abilities.
Plucked from Hell itself, you are an assassin who is competing with other demon slayers for a chance to live forever in Heaven. Meet your competitors along the way and unravel mysteries that uncover a far broader story.
