As the leaks would have us believe, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered is officially out today… for some of us. PS4 owners can relive the epic single-player campaign by purchasing the game right now for £19.99 / $24.99. Those that purchase the game will also receive the “Underwater Demo Team Classic Ghost Bundle” for use in Call of Duty Modern Warfare (2019).
Unfortunately, not all of us can experience the classic campaign in its remastered beauty on day one. Sony has had an exclusivity deal with Activision for the most recent Call of Duty titles, just as Microsoft did in previous years. I am not a huge fan of these exclusivity deals, as they tend to split the fan-base, and in my opinion, ruin the content for those that have to wait. It just doesn’t feel the same as experiencing it on day one, but I digress.
Xbox and PC players will soon be able to pre-order Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered on their respective platforms for £19.99 / $24.99, and be ready for when the game drops on April 30th. The “Underwater Demo Team Classic Ghost Bundle” is included with the pre-order, and will be available for immediate use in Call of Duty Modern Warfare (2019) upon purchase.
