Creating a game that has gameplay based on everybody’s favorite moment while gaming and giving players the excitement of titles like Doom is the inspiration behind Awe Interactive’s upcoming game, BPM: Bullets Per Minute. This favorite moment, of course, is when you manage to pull off something cool or land the finishing blow on queue with the music behind the action. In BPM, the music will guide the action!
This game will have players shoot, jump and dodge to the beat while battling hordes of enemies, all while collecting an assortment of weapons, abilities, and items as they make their way to one of the seven bosses. After choosing one of the five different characters available, all featuring their own strengths and weaknesses, players will be thrown into a randomly generated dungeon to fight against a diverse array of enemies, each with unique rhythmic behaviors. All the while you are making yourself look at badass as possible, you will get to enjoy and time your battles along with the sounds of a rock opera soundtrack.
BPM: Bullets Per Minute is set to release on PC via Steam on September 15th and is planned to come to consoles sometime in 2021. If the launch trailer above and explanation isn’t enough to get you excited for this game, check out the 8 minutes of gameplay shared by IGN below.
