Crimson Desert is an absolutely enormous game and while we have a hub for some beginner guides that will help you get used to the systems of the early game, here are the top 5 tips to help you not get overwhelmed so you can dive right into the game.
After the prologue, expand your inventory first. You do not have the space to pick everything up, especially at the beginning even if you are tempted to do so.
Take your time. This is not a game to be rushed. There is literally 100s of hours of content to explore and enjoy.
Upgrade your armor and weapons as quickly as possible. This is done mainly by cloth drops from bandits and ore/wood from the wild. Cooking will also help supplement your survivability in the early game and bosses.
Progress the main quest to at least Chapter 2 before you go too far into exploring. Some crucial mechanics are only unlocked via the main quest.
Unlock as many fast travel points as you can early on. This will ease your pain when going back and forth with the 100s of quests of available in just the starting region.
