Fans of escape rooms and puzzle-based horror experiences have their next title to look forward to. Announced by publisher 2P Games, the self-proclaimed “ultimate room-escape experience” will come from Dying: 1983 by developers NEKCOM. The second title in the series, following their original game Dying: Reborn, will be released as a timed exclusive in PlayStation 5 in 2022 with plans to come to PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam at a later date.
Players will explore a series of rooms in a surreal world to solve the mystery behind its puzzles. Just as the original game in the series, a mysterious fish-headed creature and more horrible monsters will follow their steps to dissuade them. Follow a shady physician who is contacted by a mysterious organization to participate in a secret investigation. After reaching the research facility designated for their meeting, the doctor will realize that something weird is happening there…
