Every Currency in Pokémon Champions

As a free-to-play game, Pokémon Champions has all the hallmarks. Not only is there plenty of stuff to grind and a bit of potential FOMO with the battle pass, but there are also a few unique currencies that you’ll need to keep track of.

The good news is that it isn’t as complicated as it first appears. Follow below as we break down every currency in Pokémon Champions and what they’re used for.

Victory Points

The main currency of Pokémon Champions is Victory Points. These are earned by competing in ranked matches as well as by completing missions. Winning ranked matches and completing weekly missions will specifically reward you with more Victory Points.

You’ll be using these a lot. In addition to being used to purchase items or cosmetics from the in-game shop, it’s also the currency you use to train your Pokémon and change their moves and stats.

Quick Coupons

The next common currency is Quick Coupons. You can primarily earn these as rewards from daily and weekly missions, although you can also get them by working your way up the Battle Pass as well.

Quick Coupons are used to shorten the waiting period between recruit lineups. Each ticket will subtract one hour, meaning it costs 22 tickets if you’re immediately rushing to recruit again.

Tickets

The final set of currencies is tickets, or Training and Teammate Tickets, to be specific. Both of these can be unlocked through both weekly Membership Missions and the Battle Pass. You can also unlock 50 Training Tickets and 30 Teammate Tickets by purchasing the $6.99 starter bundle on the Nintendo eShop.

Training Tickets can be used instead of Victory Points when putting a Pokémon through training. Overhauling a Pokémon’s stats can be expensive, so these are a great compromise.

Teammate Tickets are meanwhile used to permanently recruit without using Victory Points. It will go a long way if you need help hunting for shinies.

That’s every currency in Pokémon Champions explained. Things could change in the future, but for now, there is no way to directly purchase any of these currencies outside the Starter Bundle or earning them through paid membership missions.

Pokémon Champions is available now on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
