Fans of the apocalyptic-world with parkour action game Dying Light are finally able to see what Techland has been working on for the series continuation. Dying Light 2 has had a couple trailers already showing off some more aspects of the game, but there is nothing better than seeing it played out with actual live footage. Earlier today, the developers did just that by going live with a gameplay premier and showed us a full mission being completed while giving light commentary on what is going on.
Just watching this gameplay demo gets me hyped! Quite a few aspects mentioned are shown to be actually in this game and it seems like they are doing them properly. Choose your path options that have real consequences that extend to unlocking a whole new area and, presumably, a whole new type of enemy. The parkour itself seems to be full of more options and opportunities that will bring about different styles and skills for players to utilize. Not to mention the “dark zones” that are loaded with the undead and just the worst place to be at any point in the game.
Check out the gameplay yourself and see if that Dying Light interest spark relights the fire. It is set to launch on Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One during Spring of 2020, so I am sure there will be more trailers and gameplay to come before then.
