IllFonic is hard at work crafting brand new content for their recent asymmetrical licensed-based multiplayer game, Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed. We recently gave our thoughts on the title and we definitely believe that more DLC content will help the title maintain a core audience. Let's look at what's coming in the game’s first DLC drop.
Players can expect a brand new map coming to the game in early 2023. The Facility is a location that has been closed since the late 80s and has recently been purchased by a private investor group, which plans to reopen and renovate the facility. It would seem like this location has a sense of history to it. I guess we will have to wait and see what will be in store for us in early Q1 of next year.
Along with the new map, players can also expect a new playable Ghost called the Muncher. This was one of the most highly requested Ghosts by the community and it seems like IllFonic has heard you loud and clear. Players will also have more customization options for their Ghostbuster and quality-of-life patches will continue to be released leading up to this first DLC drop, and beyond.
Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is available now for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via EGS.
