Here Are The Graphical Options Explained For The PS5 Version Of Senua's Sacrifice: Hellblade

Yesterday we saw the release of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 on the PS5 along with the ehanced version that adds 60FPS and a slew of other features to Senua’s 2024 sequel game that originally released for the Xbox Series consoles and PC. However, a pleasant surprise that fans also got with the release was a free upgrade to the critically acclaimed 2017 Senua's Sacrifice: Hellblade - the game that started it all.

Here are all of the graphical settings explained, so you can know which one fits you best.

  • Performance Mode - 120 FPS with No Ray-Tracing runs at 1080p

  • Resolution Mode - 60 FPS with No Ray-Tracing at dynamic 2160p (4K)

  • Enriched Mode - 30 FPS with Ray-Tracing at a fixed 2160p (4K)

If you are on the PS5 Pro, you can also leverage PSSR to leverage better visual quality, but the game looks absolutely stunning regardless.

I am personally playing the game on Enriched as I am looking forward to doing the platinum trophy again.

On that note, a couple of things to mention about the trophies. The game does not feature auto-pop trophies, so you will have to beat the game again, but the platinum time is a mere 8 hours, faster if you already know the story and lorestone locations. Second, the trophy list is the same between the PS4 version and the PS5 version. You just have to collect the lorestones along the way and you will get the platinum trophy in one playthrough.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 however adds a new trophy centered around a new permadeath mode that makes the game slightly harder, which is a change from the original release as this mode was not included originally.
