Pokémon Pokopia: How to Get Dry Tall Grass

Designing habitats in Pokémon Pokopia can be a time-consuming affair, especially when you're asked to go above and beyond with unique furniture or designs. But you may even get tripped up when you're asked to provide a Pokémon with a habitat featuring Dry Tall Grass. While this fauna is found scattered around the world, what happens when you need some on the fly?

Thankfully, access to all the Dry Tall Grass you could ever want is literally right at your fingertips from very early on in the game. Below, we'll tell you how you can easily get Dry Tall Grass in Pokémon Pokopia.

How To Get Dry Tall Grass In Pokémon Pokopia

To get Dry Tall Grass for dry habitats (or because you just want it for some reason), you can create it by using your Leafage ability on dry patches of grass. In other words, any grass you haven't watered with Water Gun can be used to create Dry Tall Grass in this manner.

Of course, these dry patches of grass may not always be located in a spot where you want to create a dry habitat for one of your Pokémon pals. That's where the Rototiller ability comes into play. Simply use Rototiller to pick up the Dry Tall Grass you've made, and then move it to wherever you'd like. You can even store it in your inventory for later use.

Be careful not to use Water Gun on any of your Dry Tall Grass once you've played it in a habitat. To our knowledge, there's no way to dry the grass out again once it's been freshened up, meaning you'd need to rebuild a Pokèmon's home with new Dry Tall Grass if you accidentally get their habitat wet.

Now that you're all set on Dry Tall Grass, you'll be ready to make some dry habitats in Pokémon Pokopia. Certain friends like Onix will appreciate that, but just make sure you build those habitats far away from Pokémon who prefer humid environments. We don't want to make anyone fussy, of course.
