How to Beat Fourth Chorus in Hollow Knight: Silksong

After you collect 25 Spine Cores and get your upgraded cloak from the Seamstress, you think everything is fine and dandy as you try to leave the region in Hollow Knight: Silksong. Well, emphasis on try, because a boss named Fourth Chorus will stop you in your tracks.

This mechanical monster isn’t as bad as bosses like the Bell Beast or Lace, but he can certainly trip you up when you least expect it. No worries, we’re here to help, so here are some tips on how to beat Fourth Chorus in Silksong.

How to defeat Fourth Chorus boss in Silksong

This massive robot only has a few moves that you can easily learn to counter. Fourth Chorus will firstly slam his hands down, breaking off a part of the ground. Just avoid standing there and stay away from the lava. It’s probably best to wear the Magma Bell you can buy from the Forge Daughter, so you take less damage from lava and magma.

When you see his hand appear at either side of the ground, that means he’s about to swipe across the entire map. So prepare to leap and even glide in the air with your new ability.

The only area he’s vulnerable to is his face, so between these attacks, you can easily leap up and hit him while pointing upwards. Stunning him makes him fall to the ground, giving you a few seconds to lay some hits on him.

During the second phase, Fourth Chorus will slam the ceiling, causing magma rocks to fall from the sky. Simply keep an eye on where they’re falling and avoid them. They fall slowly enough to give you time to dodge.

There’s a third phase where Fourth Chorus will break both ends of your platform, giving you less room to run but also opening up air streams. Use both streams to glide up and hit the glowing orbs on the ceiling that’ll explode a few seconds after impact.

Once you do this to both sides, a large boulder will slam onto Fourth Chorus’ head, ending the fight. Now that you’ve tackled this big beast, you should make sure to find all the lost fleas in Hollow Knight: Silksong.
