With FromSoftware’s next game, a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive, many players are eager to experience the bloody nature of The Duskbloods. To satiate this eagerness, Hidetaka Miyazaki’s company decided to carry out a closed Network Test, leading to many Souls fans registering in the hopes of being selected.
If you’re one of those waiting for a notification of sorts, then stop doing that. Here is how to check if you were selected for The Duskbloods Network Test.
How to check if you were selected for The Duskbloods Network Test
As said above, finding out whether you were selected is not something FromSoftware will tell you directly. Since you used your Nintendo account to log in for registration, which means that you didn’t necessarily share your email with the company, you might be stuck in an endless loop of waiting and finding out others were selected. Therefore, disappointment.
To counter this, return to FromSoftware’s Network Test website. Access your Account via the side menu and log back in using your Nintendo account. If you were lucky, you will see a message reading, “You were SELECTED to participate.” If not, other than being granted a broken heart, you’ll also read, “You were NOT SELECTED to participate.”
Now what? The Network Test is weeks away, meaning that there’s not much else you can do but wait. At 6 a.m. PDT on Tuesday, August 18, FromSoftware will begin distributing game data and download codes. You’ll get the chance to download The Duskbloods Network Test from the Nintendo Store or the Nintendo eShop.
Then, you’ll be able to play through the test in the following scheduled time slots:
Friday, August 21, 2026: 3 a.m. to 7 a.m. PDT
Friday, August 21, 2026: 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. PDT
Saturday, August 22, 2026: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. PDT
Sunday, August 23, 2026: 3 a.m. to 7 a.m. PDT
Sunday, August 23, 2026: 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. PDT
