The new 3.0 update of Animal Crossing: New Horizons is finally out, giving us features such as Kapp’n’s Resort Hotel, and many more quality-of-life updates. One of these new features that makes terraforming and island designing a lot easier is the Reset Service.
You can now hire Resetti to clear certain sections of your island, whether that be a small section of your choice or the entire thing. But how can you start deep-cleaning your island? We’ll explain how you can find Resetti and use his Reset Service in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Where to find Resetti in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Luckily, Resetti will already be wandering around your island as soon as you update your Animal Crossing: New Horizons game. Simply run around your island until you find the mean mole, and speak to him to learn more about his Reset Service.
After this point, he will not show up at your island again. To call on Resetti again for this service, you can talk to Isabelle at the Town Hall. On your first say, Resetti will offer your first clean-up free of charge. But after that first reset, he’ll charge you 60,000 bells for a day of his service.
To choose a specific area for him to reset, tell him that you want an area of your choice, and he’ll give you a Transceiver. Walk to the spot on your island you want cleaned up, then use the Transceiver to call on him. After clearing an area, all the items cleaned up will be automatically placed in your storage.
Other than that, Resetti can clear your beaches and your entire island if you so choose. He can even become your exterminator and clear your house of roaches.
