Here’s a full rundown of everything shown at Xbox’s June Direct. From sequels and surprise reveals to big Game Pass announcements, here’s what stood out, and what didn’t.
The Outer Worlds 2 – October 29 | Game Pass Day 1
I’ve said it before, I’m a bit tired of games like this. That said, Obsidian earned back some goodwill with Avowed, so maybe I’ll give Outer Worlds 2 a shot. Still, I wasn’t a fan of the first one, so I’m cautiously skeptical.
High On Life 2 – Winter 2025 | Game Pass Day 1
I didn’t think High on Life needed a sequel, but hey, it’s coming to Game Pass. If it wasn’t, I probably wouldn’t bother.
Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy – 2026 | Game Pass Day 1
A Plague Tale prequel? Count me in. These games have been consistently strong, so I’m more than happy to see another entry.
ROG Ally Xbox & Silksong – Late 2025
Did they just casually confirm Silksong is dropping this year? Wild. Also, the ROG Ally Xbox looks slick, another reason not to grab a Switch 2.
The Blood of Dawnwalker – 2026
This one really piqued my interest. Announced earlier this year, and dropping in 2026—it’s definitely one to watch
Super Meat Boy 3D – Early 2026 | Game Pass Day 1
Instant flashbacks to the chaos of the original. I’m glad it’s back, and I’m curious (and terrified) to see how it plays in 3D.
Ninja Gaiden 4 – October 21 | Game Pass Day 1
Ninja Gaiden is an Xbox classic. Funny thing about Ninja Gaiden is I usually avoid soulslikes because they’re too hard for me, but for some reason, I always make time to get wrecked by Ninja Gaiden. Makes no sense, but here we are.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle DLC – September 4
Yes! Loved the base game, even with its flaws. And the DLC’s practically here already.
Beast of Reincarnation – 2026 | Game Pass Day 1
For a second, I thought we were getting a Pokémon update, turns out it’s Game Freak doing something totally different. The game looks beautiful, but the framerate? Yikes. Let’s hope they clean that up before launch.
Clockwork Revolution – TBD | Game Pass Day 1
Time-bending, looter-shooter chaos with steampunk vibes? Sounds like Singularity meets Bioshock. This could be something special.
Grounded 2 – July 29 (Game Preview) | Game Pass Day 1
I liked Grounded, but I’m surprised we’re getting a full sequel already. Feels like it could’ve just been a big expansion to the first game.
Cronos: The New Dawn – Fall 2025
I’ll always show up for a good Lovecraft-inspired horror game. Cronos looks deeply eerie, and I’m eager for a firm release date.
ESO: Seasons of the Worm Cult – June 18
Look, I love Elder Scrolls, but ESO is the poster child for “mid” MMOs. Hopefully this new season breathes some life into it.
Aphelion – 2026 | Game Pass Day 1
A narrative-driven sci-fi adventure that takes us to an alien planet instead of the other way around. Cool twist. And even cooler is the collaboration with the European Space Agency.
There Are No Ghosts at the Grand – 2026 | Game Pass Day 1
At first I thought, “ugh, another hotel sim,” but the music hit—and the whole vibe shifted. Magical town renovation with a catchy soundtrack? I’m in.
Age of Mythology Retold: Heavenly Spear – Fall 2025
Happy for Age of Mythology fans, but this one’s not for me. I think there are better RTS options out there.
Mudang: Two Hearts – 2026
This might be my favorite reveal of the entire show. It looks like a zombie game with Train to Busan and 28 Days Later energy—and that’s the kind of twist the genre needs.
Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf – TBD | Game Pass Day 1
Totally unexpected, but very welcome. The original was beautiful—let’s see what the sequel brings.
Fallout 76: Gone Fishing – Available Now
I don’t play Fallout 76 much these days, but it’s come a long way. This update looks like a cozy, creative detour for the chill players.
Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive Demo – 2026
The anime had game DNA already, so it makes sense. I’m interested to see how it plays.
Animo – 2026
Is it just me, or does this feel like a fake game? Something about the way it looks screams vaporware.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 – July 11 | Game Pass Day 1
Tony Hawk forever. And the additions? Mikey from TMNT and… Doom Guy?! That rules.
At Fate’s End – 2026 | Game Pass Day 1
The metroidvania genre is overcrowded, but this one caught my eye thanks to its style and slick-looking combat.
Gears of War: Reloaded – August 26 | Game Pass Day 1
An Xbox icon returns—and now PlayStation players get to see what the hype is about. Gears has always hit a sweet spot for me, and I can’t wait for more.
Persona 4 Revival – TBD | Game Pass Day 1
JRPG fans are eating good. I still haven’t jumped into Persona, but I keep hearing I should.
Sea of Thieves: Season 17 – Smuggler’s Tide – August
Somehow, Sea of Thieves keeps sailing strong. I didn’t expect it to last this long, but its updates have kept things fresh.
Invincible VS – 2026
A new tag-team fighter set in the Invincible universe? That sounds brutal in the best way. Hoping it lights a fire under NetherRealm to give us Injustice 3 soon.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade – Winter
One of the best Final Fantasy games finally lands on Xbox. With the MTG x Final Fantasy set incoming, maybe this is the push I needed for a replay.
Final Fantasy XVI – Available Now
Speaking of FF, XVI is finally here on Xbox. Another one I missed—now might be the time.
Keeper – October 17 | Game Pass Day 1
You play… a sentient lighthouse? Okay, weird. But I’m curious. It's on Game Pass, so I'll definitely give it a try.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 – TBD | Game Pass Day 1
And of course, the big finale… Call of Duty. Again. Thanks, I guess.
That’s a wrap on the Xbox Showcase!
Which games are you most excited about? Anything surprise you?
