Developed by CBE Software, Someday You'll Return is an upcoming psychological horror game with a heavy focus on narrative and concepts of fatherhood, fears, and lies. Players take control of Daniel, who is searching for his lost daughter, Stela. On his mission to find Stela, Daniel is forced to search the ancient Moravian forests, a place that he swore he would never return to.
The game’s setting resembles a beautiful Czech forest, offering a unique mood for players, as it differs from a Scandinavian or American forest. Someday You’ll Return also features references to locations and myths that date back as far as the 9th century.
CBE Software has released a new trailer for Someday You’ll Return featuring a Moravian Folk Song that is a part of the upcoming title’s soundtrack, launching April 14 for Windows PC, with a console release happening sometime later this year.
The trailer highlights some in-game areas that resemble the Moravian region, while backed by vocals from Gabriela Vermelho, who performs the Moravian Folk Song, as well as some of the other music on the game’s soundtrack. Moravia is a mountainous region that is a very historic part in the east areas of the Czech Republic, and home to the Moravian people. A perfect setting for this psychological horror.
