Long Jaunt Announces Newest Medieval Kingdom Simulator Title NORLAND

Indie developer Long Jaunt has announced their new, medieval, and kingdom ruling game: Norland. Inspired by the likes of Rimworld, Crusader Kings, and Caesar, this upcoming title sets itself apart with a highly advanced AI system allowing NPC’s to act independently with emotion and intent.

Norland sells itself on generating complex stories through unpredictable interactions between characters at large within their own society. Elements like crime, riots, and struggles for the throne can all play a part in the story as it unfolds.

Manage a noble family who owns a city populated by dozens of characters. Each character has their own class from peasant to soldier. Every citizen has their own needs and behavioral traits which depend on the character's social status and individual aspects. Amongst the story itself, you will be building and upgrading your kingdom whilst contending with your duties as a leader.

Having the power to punish criminals and oversee all ongoings in your kingdom sound super fun and will definitely bring some enjoyment to those of us that enjoy messing with NPC’s. Norland is set to launch on Steam this fall so keep an eye out of this because it sounds like something that you could sink your teeth into.
