We got our first official Monster Jam game a couple of years ago, and while the original Steel Titans title was fun to play, the reviews showed that it had room for improvement. It looks like Monster Jam, THQ Nordic, Feld Entertainment, and Rainbow Studios decided to give the game another go and to improve it with new content as well. Monster Jam Steel Titans 2 is set to release on March 2nd for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Stadia.
This time players will have five new worlds to explore, the roster of truck options has been expanded, and they have added online multiplayer. If it is set up like the first title, you can expect to have to unlock trucks as you progress through the challenges and events, but since they are adding multiplayer to this one there may be new ways to get new trucks. I’m definitely excited for the multiplayer as beating another player can often be more satisfying than beating the AI.
Excited players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One can claim their copies now by pre-ordering the game through one of two choices. Getting the base game pre-order comes with the popular, Inverse Higher Education truck, bringing your in-game truck roster to 39. Getting the Power Out Bundle pre-order comes with three DLC truck packs. These truck packs include Fire and Ice, Bakugan Dragonoid, and Gold Truck Bundle, totaling 17 additional Monster Jam trucks
