After an original announcement that left those curious about this upcoming hand-drawn horror title with questions about release dates and platforms, not to mention how exactly developer Hidden Fields is pulling this off as a one-man studio, we finally have all the information. We already knew that they were launching Mundaun on PC via Steam, but thanks to their partnership with MWM Interactive, this unique horror game will be released on March 16th for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via both Steam and Epic Games Store.
To help amp up the hype as they prepare for launch day next month, they have started a bi-weekly behind-the-scenes series on YouTube. These videos are going to be showcasing the creative development process and the folklore and real life inspirations behind the game.
