One of the many interesting games to be announced as a world premier during The Game Awards 2018 was the awaited Mortal Kombat 11 by NetherRealm Studios. While there have been rumors and hints that the next title of the beloved fighting series was in the works, the definitive trailer is always the best source of proof.
Showing off some of the moves, improved graphics, and our classic fighters Scorpion and Raiden facing off against each other, the trailer is simply epic! Check it out:
After watching this trailer I could tell that they aren’t planning to hold anything back this time around. Mortal Kombat 11 is looking to be the bloodiest, most brutal Mortal Kombat in the series! Although it is set to launch April 23, 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, players don’t have to wait so long to try the game themselves.
In fact, if you pre-order the game on either PS4 or XB1, then you will get to play the closed beta as early as March 2019. This is also how you unlock Shao Kahn, which I think is a poor choice as he is an iconic enemy of the series. Hopefully he will still be able to be obtained in the game legitimately.
