If you’re looking for a mighty weapon in Mortal Shell 2, the Obsidian Hammer may be the weapon for you. Although it’s much slower than something like the Axe & Dagger, your enemies will be left reeling from your attacks. The only problem is you have to find it yourself, so here’s how you can get the Obsidian Hammer in Mortal Shell 2.
Where to find the Obsidian Hammer in Mortal Shell 2
You can find the Obsidian Hammer at the Obsidianite Mines dungeon, which is southwest of the Ouskirts of Mannon Beacon. The easiest way to enter this dungeon is from the Abandoned Outpost Beacon. From there, head down the hill until you see a teleportation gate.
Teleport to the other side, then curl right around the coffins until you reach a path down the mountain. Ignore the enemies in your way, pass the bridge, and run past the large enemy throwing boulders at you. You’ll find yourself in an open space with a few miner enemies. The dungeon entrance is just ahead of you.
Once inside, you’ll be met with quite a few of these pickaxe-wielding enemies. Pass by the first one and grab the Ventrium from the chest while avoiding stepping in the center of the room. Step in the middle and the planks will break, making you fall down.
One enemy is waiting on the platform you’ve landed on. Jump down, and run through the passage that’ll lead you to a new room. You’ll now have to jump down onto the platforms below you one at a time so you don’t take fall damage.
Deal with any enemy in your way, as one hit can lead to you falling off the ledge. Past this room is the final boss, who is Prophet of Profane Infinities.
There’s no real strategy to beating Prophet of Profane Infinities, as he only swings his hammer around. If you’re playing with Tiel’s Shell, it’s easy to time your dodges to then shadow strike on the boss. He’s a slow swinger, so parrying or dodging is easier than you’d think.
Once you eventually defeat Prophet of Profane Infinities, you’ll receive the Obsidian Hammer that he was wielding, meaning you’ll now be prepared to go slam it against some more baddies.
