Mortal Shell 2 offers plenty of weapons to choose from, but you’ll need to track them down out in the world first. If you’ve got your eyes on a spear, you’ll be looking for the Black Needle. Below, we’ll tell you where you can find this armament so that you can begin poking your foes to death.
Where to find the Black Needle in Mortal Shell 2
To get the Black Needle, you’ll simply need to work your way through Sester’s Refuge, reach the Sester’s Gate beacon at the end, and then cleanse the beacon. Check the map above for the exact location of this beacon.
You’ll have to work through a fairly challenging dungeon within the beacon, which is capped off by a boss fight against multiple Sesters. This can be quite an ask if you’re lower level, so it’s best to tackle this later in the game.
Once you’ve defeated the bosses, you’ll automatically be granted the Black Needle.
Don’t forget to equip the Black Needle and give it a go. If you’re looking for some range, this might be an especially good choice for your build, after all. Better yet, pair it with the Forgotten Crossbow as a sidearm for a quick option for dealing with even longer-range encounters. And while you’re in Sester’s Refuge, don’t forget to grab the Axatana, too.
