You can pair any shell with any weapon in Mortal Shell 2, so it’s a good idea to find as many of them as you can to see if you can find the perfect combination for you. And if you’re a fan of gigantic swords that deal big damage at the expense of slow swings, you’ll want to get your hands on the Great Martyr’s Blade. Below, we’ll tell you which dungeon houses this hulking weapon.
Where to find the Great Martyr’s Blade in Mortal Shell 2
You can find the Great Martyr’s Blade inside of the Martyr’s Prison dungeon, which is located on the outside wall of the Citadel of Penance. Note the location on the map above.
Inside this dungeon will be a handful of enemies to fend off, including a showdown that takes place in a circular room with a closed gate, meaning you’re stuck in there to either survive or die.
Once you’ve cleared all of the enemies, though, check the back corner of the room for a small area you can enter with a pedestal. Approach the pedestal and interact with the Great Martyr’s Blade to pick it up and add it to your armament collection.
This massive blade, which happens to swing very slowly, might pair well with the fast-firing Forgotten Crossbow. This will give you a way to deal rapid damage to smaller enemies that may be a bit too quick-moving for you to comfortably handle with a large sword.
Mortal Shell 2 is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
