A good survival horror is a treat for any fan of video games. The intense atmosphere and high-stakes gameplay are paramount for a horror game to be great. Turns out a new survival horror game coming from Iceberg Interactive and Stormling Studios called Lunacy: Saint Rhodes is soon to be released. In the meantime, there has been official confirmation of a release date and a planned demo reveal.
Lunacy: Saint Rhodes is designed to feel like an immersive horror film albeit with the added addition of puzzles and survival horror elements. The town of Saint Rhodes casts a haunting atmosphere for the main objective, to find out what happened to the main character’s family. Despite the town’s deserted appearance, there never seems to be a way to scratch the feeling that someone is always watching.
There are plenty of threats that each require their own approach to defeat them. The gameplay all occurs over an original soundtrack that feeds into the feeling of paranoia and certain doom. Unseen beings watch every move as the story unfolds, revealing the world and mystery of Saint Rhodes.
Lunacy: Saint Rhodes will release on July 27th for PC via Steam with a public demo currently available.
