You know it’s a good day when Nintendo announces another Nintendo Direct streaming soon. The next Nintendo Direct is set to stream this Friday, September 12.
The House of Mario announced the next stream via the Nintendo Today! app on Wednesday, which comes off the heels of the latest Nintendo Direct dedicated to Kirby Air Riders. This direct will run for 60 minutes and will bring news about third-party games coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 — and possibly the original Nintendo Switch.
On top of being the second-longest direct after the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct back in April, this Nintendo Direct is being streamed the day before Mario’s 40th anniversary, which means they might reveal a new Mario game in commemoration. Nintendo recently renewed the trademark for Super Mario Galaxy, so there’s a chance they might announce either a remaster of Super Mario Galaxy 2 or Super Mario Galaxy 3. But that’s just a theory for now. We’ll see what happens on Friday.
