On July 15th, 3 games were added to the NES and Super NES classics on Nintendo’s North American Nintendo Swtich online services — one NES game, and two Super NES games — The Immortal, a dungeon crawler for the NES (By Will Harvey and Electronic Arts), Donkey Kong Country for the Super NES (By Rare for Nintendo) and Natsume Championship Wrestling (By Natsume USA), also for the Super NES.
This trio of games gives us a nice mix of the familiar and the obscure: Donkey Kong Country is a well-known, highly successful title, Natsume Championship Wrestling is more or less a cult title and The Immortal is fairy unknown these days. Of this trinity, Natsume Championship Wrestling is considered to be one of the best wrestling games of it’s day, with it’s timing based combat.
The video above shows all three games in action with narration by Sam Gonzalez. Which of these 3 are you excited to try or experience for the first time? Let us know below! As for me, Sam and I are gonna go back to wras-ling with the Natsume dudes!
