PowerWash Simulator 2 – Star Wars Pack Review

PowerWash Simulator 2 heads to a galaxy far, far away with its Star Wars Pack, offering a new collection of recognizable vehicles and environments to painstakingly scrub clean. Even as someone who isn’t a major Star Wars fan, I still found the levels satisfying and enjoyable purely from a gameplay perspective. After all, blasting grime away piece by piece remains an incredibly relaxing way to spend a few hours.

Gameplay

Dedicated fans will undoubtedly get more out of the experience. The levels are packed with references and small details that I probably didn’t understand, but the average Star Wars fan should have a great time recognizing everything scattered throughout the jobs.

Then there’s the AT-AT level, which was… a lot. Its enormous size makes it impressive when you first see it covered in dirt, but actually cleaning the entire thing is a serious undertaking. Watching it slowly transform is satisfying, especially when you finally complete a massive section, but you’ll need to bring plenty of patience. This is definitely not the level to start if you only have 20 minutes to spare.

Design

The Star Wars theming extends beyond the levels themselves, with new themed power-washing equipment helping the pack establish its own identity. It’s a nice touch that makes the experience feel more connected to the franchise instead of simply dropping familiar Star Wars objects into the standard game.

My favorite addition is the little blaster noise that plays when you start using your power washer. It’s a small detail, but it fits the setting perfectly and adds a bit of personality to every cleaning session. Even without much attachment to the franchise, I appreciated how the sound effects and equipment helped sell the Star Wars atmosphere.

Feedback

Your enjoyment of the Star Wars Pack will likely depend on two things: how much you enjoy the core PowerWash Simulator 2 gameplay and how much you love Star Wars. Fans of both are obviously going to get the most from it, particularly with all the references and recognizable details packed into the levels.

However, you don’t need an encyclopedic knowledge of Star Wars to enjoy cleaning everything. The jobs are still satisfying on their own, and the themed equipment adds some welcome charm. The AT-AT can feel overwhelming because of its sheer scale, but completing it also delivers one of the pack’s biggest feelings of accomplishment.

Final Verdict

Overall, the Star Wars Pack is a solid addition to PowerWash Simulator 2. It offers enjoyable new levels, fun themed equipment, and plenty of details for fans to discover. I might not have understood every reference, but I certainly understood the satisfaction of turning a filthy AT-AT into a spotless one.
