VTOMAN FlashSpeed 2400
The VTOMAN FlashSpeed 2400 is one of those pieces of gear that makes you wonder how you ever got by without it. This thing is an absolute powerhouse, loaded with quality power outlets that handle anything you throw at them and a fast charging mode that genuinely has to be seen to be believed.
Whether you're a gamer setting up a mobile battlestation, a camper who refuses to rough it without creature comforts, a hunter at base camp, or someone who just wants reliable backup power at home, the FlashSpeed 2400 has you covered with capacity to spare. And hey, maybe you're the kind of person who likes to game while camping. No judgment here!
The FlashSpeed 2400 makes that dream a reality without breaking a sweat. The build quality is exceptional, the versatility is unmatched, and the sheer amount of power this unit delivers in such a portable package is genuinely impressive. We've tested a lot of gear over the years and this is easily one of the most impressive pieces of equipment we've come across in a long time.
If you need reliable, fast, abundant power in any scenario, indoor or outdoor, this is the one to get.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered (Switch 2)
Let's get the ugly out of the way first: Yes, there are problems. Frame rate issues crop up, dips happen, and you're going to notice them if you're coming from the PC or console versions. That's the reality of squeezing a full-blown remaster of this scale onto a portable platform.
Now that we've addressed that, let's talk about the good and there's a lot of it! The fact that we get to play this amazing remaster of Oblivion on the go is nothing short of fantastic. Cyrodiil in your hands, wherever you want, whenever you want. That alone is worth the price of admission. This already classic game just became even better, and we are all for it. The remaster brought new life to one of the most beloved RPGs ever made, and having a portable version means there's never been a more convenient way to lose yourself in the Imperial Province all over again.
The technical hiccups are real, but they don't come close to ruining what is still an incredible experience. If you love Oblivion and you love your Switch 2, the minor trade-offs are easy to live with.
EVERSPACE 2: Galactic Edition (Switch 2)
Yummmm - Space Combat. The Switch 2 third party train just keeps on rolling and we are here for every stop. EVERSPACE 2: Galactic Edition is another fantastic game that has received an equally fantastic port to Nintendo's latest hardware. We loved this game in our original review and we love it just as much on the go. The space combat is thrilling, the exploration is rewarding, and the Galactic Edition packs in enough content to keep you busy for a very long time.
There's really not much more to say other than this is yet another quality third party title finding a perfect home on the Switch 2. The port is well done, the game is excellent, and having this kind of deep, gorgeous space action RPG available in handheld form is the kind of thing we'll never complain about.
The Switch 2 library continues to grow with heavy hitters and EVERSPACE 2 fits right in alongside the best of them. More space games on Switch 2, por favor.
Tormented Souls 2
We're way late to the party on this one, but with Tormented Souls 2 heading to Switch 2 in October, we wanted to shine a spotlight on what is already a stellar experience available right now on PC!
If you've been craving a return to classic survival horror in the vein of early Resident Evil, this is exactly what you're looking for. The developers have nailed that old school formula but wrapped it in stunning modern graphics and smooth animation that give the whole experience a fresh, premium feel.
Think fixed camera angles, tense resource management, and genuine scares, all the things that made classic horror great but with a visual presentation that stands shoulder to shoulder with modern titles.
We absolutely love what the team has accomplished here. It's a throwback done right, respecting the legacy of the genre while proving there's still plenty of life left in the formula. And once it hits Switch 2 this fall, even more players will get to experience one of the best horror games flying under the radar right now.
Madden 27
Another year, another Madden, right? That's usually the story, and it would be easy to write this one off with a shrug before even booting it up. But hold on Madden 27 on PS5 is genuinely stellar. We went in expecting the same old formula and came out impressed by just how much the additions and refinements elevate the experience this time around. The presentation is incredible, delivering a broadcast-quality feel that makes every game night feel like a primetime event.
We'll be the first to admit we thought the formula might finally be running out of steam, but Madden 27 proved us wrong. The gameplay improvements are meaningful, the new features add real depth, and the overall package is more than worth it for hardcore football fans who live and breathe this series. Is it going to convert people who've never cared about Madden? Probably not.
But for the faithful, this is one of the strongest entries in years and a reminder that when EA brings their A game to the gridiron, the results speak for themselves!
EverQuest Legends
EverQuest Legends is a bit of an acquired taste and it knows exactly what it is. Old school fans who spent years in the original Norrath are going to eat this up as the nostalgia factor alone is powerful, but the substance backing it up is what makes this re-release truly special. The developers have struck a near-perfect balance between honoring what made the original a genre-defining classic and introducing just enough modern quality of life to keep things from feeling like a museum piece. It's a fantastic re-release done right by people who clearly understand why EverQuest mattered.
That said, the early 3D graphics are going to be a tough pill to swallow for modern audiences walking in fresh. There's no getting around the fact that this is a game rooted in a visual era that most players have long since moved past, and if you need your games to look current, this one is going to test your patience before it wins you over.
But for those willing to look past the aesthetic and engage with what's underneath, EverQuest Legends offers a deep, rewarding experience that reminds you why this franchise helped build the MMO genre from the ground up. For the tolerant of early 3D graphics only :)
Mafia: The Old Country is already a stunning game and one of the good ones from last year, so any excuse to spend more time in its world is welcome. The Man of Honor DLC delivers a perfectly fine expansion that gives fans more of what they love about the base game. It's well crafted, it looks gorgeous, and if you're invested in the Mafia universe, you're going to enjoy your time with it. There's nothing here that's going to blow the doors off, but it doesn't need to to be honest as sometimes more of a great thing is exactly enough.
The caveat is that this one might have gotten lost in the shuffle of what has been an incredibly busy season for games. The DLC is linear and light on surprises, which makes it a tougher sell when there are so many other titles competing for your attention and your wallet.
For dedicated Mafia fans it's an easy grab, but for everyone else it might be worth waiting until the chaos of the release calendar dies down and you're looking for a reason to revisit one of the year's best. It's good content that just happened to arrive at the busiest possible time of a very busy gaming year and season.
