The newest entry from Riot Games’ third-party studio Riot Forge has just been released to fans new and old of League of Legends and the world of Runeterra. Indie developer Digital Sun, has worked with Riot Forge to create The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story, a 2D RPG hack-and-slash adventure through a beautiful pixel art depiction of the Kingdom of Demacia within Runeterra. Released a few days ago on April 18th, The Mageseeker has already been received incredibly well by old fans of the world of League of Legends as well as newcomers unfamiliar with the world, and requires no previous experience with League of Legends or any other Riot games.
In The Mageseeker, players will adventure as Sylas, a mage, who like all mages in the Kingdom of Demacia was imprisoned for the crime of simply being a mage. Now having freed himself after over a decade of captivity, Sylas will use his magical ability to copy the magical powers of others to try and bring about a rebellion and liberate all mages from the tyranny of Demacian rule.
In The Mageseeker, players will free themselves and fight their way to freedom and rebellion with snappy hack-and-slash combat combined with the strategic copying of magical abilities. Follow Sylas as he fights against Demacia and freedom for all mages in The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story.
