From October 14th to November 11th, you’ll be able to enter The Upside Down in Rocket League. The Stranger Things-themed Halloween event will feature new currency and secret items for you to unlock.

Here’s the official description from Psyonix:

Rocket League is entering The Upside Down, and things have gotten … stranger. Netflix's award-winning show, Stranger Things, has invaded this year's Haunted Hallows! Play Online Matches and earn Candy Corn to unlock top-secret items created by the Hawkins National Laboratory for your Battle-Cars. There are also some spooky and autumn-inspired items to check out!

The event lasts for a month, so you’ll be able to fend off your crushing need for the next season of Stranger Things by entering the battle car arena and scaring off the competition like a hungry Demogorgon. From our coverage of the hit Netflix show, it looks like the band of apocalypse-stopping teens will be leaving Hawkins, so this might be your last chance to dive into the ‘80s town and revel in nostalgia.

Just don’t forget to play the game. Your teammates will not be happy with you, otherwise.
