A few years back, an indie game that would become an iconic sensation was released to challenge players and bring them into a world designed in the fun characteristic style of old cartoons. This game was the bullet-hell platformer titled Cuphead by Studio MDHR Entertainment. As we go into the year that will mark the 5th anniversary of the game, they opened a slot at The Game Awards to announce an upcoming DLC in a remarkable style, which you can find the full performance in the video above.
This second helping of Cuphead is cleverly named The Delicious Last Course (The DLC) and features a new adventure. Brothers Cuphead and Mugman are joined by the clever, adventurous Ms. Chalice for a rollicking adventure on a previously undiscovered Inkwell Isle! With the aid of new weapons, magical charms, and Ms. Chalice’s unique abilities, players will take on a new cast of fearsome, larger-than-life bosses to assist the jolly Chef Saltbaker in Cuphead’s final challenging quest!
Cuphead - The Delicious Last Course is set to release on all versions of the game on June 30, 2022.
