After just announcing their asymmetrical co-op survival game, DragonBall: The Breakers, Bandai Namco has put out a sign-up call for their first closed beta network test! This Closed Beta Test aims to gather player feedback to help balance and optimize the gameplay prior to release. Of course, we don’t know exactly when this title is set to release other than sometime in 2022.

As usual for most closed beta tests, there are a limited number of spots available for players to jump in on. Also, the Closed Beta Test sessions will take place at specific times between December 3rd and 4th on PC via Steam. If you are interested in participating, sign up here!

The schedule for the Closed Beta Test is as follows:

  • Session 1: 12/3 (Fri) 9:00 PM - 1:00 AM EST / 12/3 (Fri) 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM PST

  • Session 2: 12/4 (Sat) 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM EST / 12/4 (Sat) 4:00 AM - 8:00 AM PST

  • Session 3: 12/4 (Sat) 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM EST / 12/4 (Sat) 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM PST

  • Session 4: 12/4 (Sat) 9:00 PM - 1:00 AM EST / 12/4 (Sat) 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM PST

Whether or not you participate in this first access to DragonBall: The Breakers, everybody will be able to play this game when it comes out. It is planned to release on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Hopefully, we will hear about more details such as cross-play and cross-gen prior to launch. After all, it is definitely an interesting take for the DragonBall Z game series and a twist in the usual game style that asymmetrical games take on, so it is sure to catch the attention of quite a variety of gamers.
