Konami recently held their own stream where they shared further details and gameplay on Silent Hill f and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. However, they also had a surprise for fans with a new announcement, which I am sure not many people were expecting - a remake of the 1999 original, Silent Hill.
While we did get a sort-of remake for Silent Hill 1 in the form of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories for the Wii, PS2 and PSP back in 20010, it wasn’t really something fans wanted and was more of a passion project by Sam Barlow.
A dedicated Silent HIll 1 remake is something that excited a lot of fans and while we do not know when the game will release, my money is 2028 or 2029 with how game dev cycles are going right now.
