Nightdive Studios and Prime Matter have recently updated the Steam page for their highly anticipated remake of the cult classic first-person shooter System Shock with a release window for the game. It Has been a long time coming but it seems like this much-desired remake will finally be in gamers' hands this coming March 2023.
The System Shock remake has been in the oven for quite some time since its initial Kickstarter campaign launch back in 2016! Now, it's not uncommon to say a game has been in development for over 7 years but I must say that players are definitely ready to play this title this year and have been patient. There is a free Steam demo available to download now so you can try the game for yourself before the upcoming launch.
It is worth noting that Nightdive Studios has delayed this project multiple times over the years so it is possible for it to be delayed once again, but it is nice to have a release window to look forward to. Let’s hope we’ll be able to get our hands on the space survival sim in just a few short months.
It seems like March is going to be a projected busy month for gamers everywhere and System Shock is adding fuel to that fire. System Shock is set to release sometime in March 2023 on PC via Steam, EGS, and GOG. It is also launching on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One but it is currently not confirmed to have a simultaneous launch. We will be sure to keep tabs on the title and report when the exact launch date will be, as well as the exact console launch specifics.
